Delightful Bed & Breakfast Cottage

This attractive granite cottage was built in 1921 by the Duchy of Cornwall and is still owned by Prince Charles to this day.   

The cottage offers a double room and a twin room both with seaview and another double room overlooking the gardens and flower farm fields.  All rooms have television, tea and coffee facilities and hairdryer. 

The cottage is southwest facing and enjoys spectacular uninterrupted views of the harbour and the "Off Islands".  The standard of furnishing, decor and housekeeping are very high and the welcome is warm and the breakfasts delicious.

Porthloo is a quiet rural area with a sprinkling of houses, art and craft workshops and a couple of convenient restaurants.  Hugh Town is a gentle 15 minute walk either by a coastal footpath or a country lane.
