Welcoming guests for 100 years

This is the most southerly hotel in England and has been welcoming guests for over 100 years. It has a fantastic location between two sandy beaches: Town Beach and Porthcressa and just a short stroll in to Hugh Town and the quay for “off” island boat trips.

ROOMS

23 ensuite rooms, well appointed with TV, tea/coffee making facilities, hairdryer and some rooms on the top floor have seaviews. There is a choice of single, double and family rooms.

LIVING

The main restaurant is well known for its three course dinner and, like many other hotels on the islands, local produce is sourced whenever possible.

The Island bar is a great spot for a drink with a good book from the hotel’s small library.

There is a lovely indoor heated swimming pool (one of just three on the island) with a vibrant marine-themed wall fresco. A friendly, informal hotel in a superb location.

Prices start at £446 per person sharing a standard room on half board for three nights with flights from Land's End to St Mary's.
