A ten minute boat ride from St Mary’s brings you to St Martin’s island and the top rated hotel of the same name resembling a cluster of granite cottages.

ROOMS

30 ensuite rooms and suites all beautifully furnished and decorated. There’s a choice of standard or large double or twin rooms with sea or garden view and some have additional bunk beds. All have tea/coffee making facilities with Cornish biscuits, bathrobes, hairdryers, bottled water and Molton Brown toiletries.

LIVING

The only hotel on the island, it’s set in beautiful sub-tropical gardens full of palm trees and flowers with a glorious outdoor seating area shaded by thatched parasols.

Wander down to the sandy beaches and enjoy the peace. On the first floor the Tean restaurant with panoramic views over to the uninhabited island of Tean (hence its name) offers the best of fine dining and has consistently received numerous culinary awards. The Round Island Bar and Bistro is the informal option serving a lighter menu and a good selection of wines and cocktails. Buckets and spades are supplied for children and there is a children’s High Tea.

There is a heated indoor pool and sunloungers on the lawn. Visitors are always welcome to play cricket for the local St Martins team.
