Located above New Grimsby Harbour with views across the narrow channel to the island of Bryher. The New Inn is the only pub on Tresco and is therefore very much the centre of the islands social scene.   

There are sixteen en-suite guest rooms comfortably furnished and many with seaviews. Some are on the ground floor and have a sun terrace and some are on the first floor with seaviews others have inland views.

The residents bar and lounge offers a peaceful alternative to the lively pub. Outside there is a seasonal heated swimming pool.

The New Inn regularly receives an AA Rosette for its food and on the menu you can expect to see Tresco reared beef, fresh fish and local produce.

There are Real Ale Festivals in May and September and other activities include the Cider Festival in July, regular live music and gig racing which always ensures a lively atmosphere in the bar. Other facilities include bike hire, tennis court, a therapy shed and an internet station.

The New Inn is open all year and many guests visit in the winter to witness the massing of migrant birds and the full exciting force of a winter storm from the comfort of the cosy bar. ETB/AA 4 star silver award.
