Location, location, location 

With some of the best views on St Mary’s island, Tregarthen’s enjoys a peaceful location yet just a few minutes’ walk into town.

The hotel’s founder, Captain Frank Tregarthen operated the steam packet ship “Little Western” delivering mail, provisions and the very first tourists to St Mary’s!

ROOMS

33 ensuite, beautifully appointed rooms, some with fabulous seaviews. All rooms have hairdryer, trouser press, iron and board, tea/coffee making facilities and direct dial telephone. Design is contemporary and reminds us of the lovely New England beach house style.

LIVING

There was a massive refurbishment in 2010 so the hotel has excellent facilities. The award winning restaurant has spectacular harbour views and specialises in local seafood dishes. Meals, snacks and drinks are also served on the beautiful garden terrace.

Tregarthen’s has wonderful views of the other islands and is a stylish property.
